Extremely thorough and patient with my girlfriend when went in to discuss accutane treatment for her. He also struck the right balance between explaining complications and the difference between a possibility and a likelihood. He also helped dispel some cultural rumors from her family in a way that was not disrespectful while still keeping firm to giving truthful and accurate information based only on the science.

Dr. Stendardo is rude and condescending. I overheard him talking about how I needed to learn how to read because he didn’t understand the question that the nurse relayed to him. He is obnoxious and arrogant — the only thing you’ll learn from him is how NOT to treat other people. The nurse was very nice and she has my sympathy.

Agree with the previous commenter in that he definitely is into maximizing his billing, or so it seems to me.
Profit definitely seems to be his main concern, not the patient.
Someone else has suggested that they think he pushes drugs. This, too, is my perception of him – he does, and expensive ones at that. (He doesn’t seem to like seeing me take generic bramds. He will also try to put you on a lower milligammage so you end up taking 2 pills a day instead of one, which, again, can be more expensive, especially if you don’t have private coverage.
I too, find him arrogant and condescending, unfortunately. I myself would call it shallow and quite rude.
Yes, his staff is mostly young females, and there seems to be quite a lot of turnaround. Maybe he is not the easiest person to work with? But that’s just my impression.
Yes, they do push online bookings, but those are pain in the neck, and the online waiting times are very unreliable, because the idea of doing everything online and quick is in itself very unwise. If I should choose a word that would describe him best, it would be “quick” and then “money”. When you put it together, it sums him up quite well.
Oh, hang on… his office also referred me to a doctor with v e r y bad reputation… this in itself should have you alarmed….

Dr. Stendardo is wise in admitting when something is out of his comfort zone. I have not had success with those he referred me to, but I appreciate his transparency. Vincenzo will not phone it in and he deserves praise in a system where that happens a lot. He did have me come back a lot for a problem that should normally be handled by family medicine making me worry that he was really into maximizing his billing. Also all of his nurses and assistants were thin 22 year old women. But those are only details. I could elaborate on them, but I would have to bill you for another session.

The worst doctor, arrogant and rude, he does know anything, not helpful at all. Most of Apple tree doctors don’t know nothing always giving a poor service.

Very professional, quick, efficient, and straight to the point, communicates in respectful tone regardless of what the health situation/issue is. I later signed him as my family doctor. I hope he continues to practice, it would be hard to find a doctor like him. 🙂
