I had my left knee replaced on 5/2/21. I was very nervous about undergoing this surgery however after meeting Dr Small and having a very detailed consultation my fears were reduced. I was out of bed the following day after surgery and within 8 days was walking without an aid. I went back to work after 6 weeks completely pain free. I have resumed all normal activities. I would highly recommend Dr Tim Small to anyone suffering from knew paid. PS I am a female aged 62.

I am 84 years old and had a full knee replacement last month by Dr. Small. After hearing it takes a long time to recover from the surgery I was very surprised to be walking without crutches or other support only 11 days after my operation. Suffice to say, I am extremely happy with my result. Dr. Small did an amazing job - I am walking comfortably and my leg is now completely straight again. I highly recommend Dr. Small to anyone considering knee surgery, he is also an extremely kind person and made me feel very confident and happy all along the way. - Graham Frost

I was lucky enough to find Dr Timothy Small on the internet when searching for an orthopaedic surgeon, he stood out to me because he looked young but experienced and up with up to date knowledge of orthopaedic surgery, he is also a fellow Kiwi which made me feel like i was in great hands. His practice manager Cynthia is amazing, nothing was ever too much for her, always willing to help you. These two together make an incredible team which made or an incredible experience. I am quite young to have a hip replacement (48) and i was nervous, but Dr Small made me feel very comfortable and i actually recovered pretty quickly, back at work after 5 weeks and no pain, now im actually excited to get my left one done in a months time. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Small, he is caring, confident, competent and a highly skilled surgeon.

I have worked with doctors most of my professional life. I know a good doctor. Dr Tim Small has given me two knee replacements three years apart. I have made an exceptionally good recovery for both. Tim is an excellent surgeon. He listens and he communicates well. I can highly recommend him. His PA Cynthia is the icing on the cake and nothing is too much trouble for her. They are a wonderful team.

A massive thank you to Dr. Tim Small! I can’t express my appreciation enough for how he’s fixed my knee. I spent a long time researching different doctors, because I wanted the best result for my knee. I’m 35 and struggled with slow degeneration of meniscus and tears, probably due to high intensity sports, causing knee to constantly lockup and swell. I physically could not run or take stairs without locking, so I had stop many activities. I was avoiding surgery for 2 years, but enough was enough. I met Dr. Tim, we discussed options, I really wanted surgey by this point and it was my 1st surgery ever. The whole process was simple and a very positive experience. Knee is better than it was before, unbelievable. Within 2 weeks of surgery I was surfing again like nothing happened. Obviously every person’s situation is different, but I really felt like Dr. Tim actually cares about his patients and will do anything he can to help them.

After seeing 3 different surgeons on the Central Coast I was lucky enough to find I believe the best surgeon in Australia.From the moment I met him and his team at St Vincents I was treated with the utmost professionalism everything was handled perfectly.It’s been 6 weeks today since my hip replacement surgery and I’m pain free I can’t thank Tim and his crew enough for not only giving me my life back but the way they handled everything is truly amazing.Hats off to you Tim we need more of this calibre of humans in this world

I was so lucky to find Dr. Tim Small to perform my left hip replacement after suffering with pain and mobility issues for a number of years. From my first interaction with Tim I knew I was in very good hands. The procedure was explained in great detail along with the computer generated analysis of my hip which would assist the surgical replacement. My post operative recovery and Rehab was organised by Dr. Small firstly at St. Vincents Private and subsequently at Kareena Private. His Practice Manager, Cynthia was always helpful and very efficient. It is now three months since the surgery and I am able to walk normally again without pain. I thank you once again and I recommend Dr. Small very highly.

My right hip replacement has been performed by Dr Tim Small. After 6 weeks I’m enjoying pain free and drug free health again. I have postponed this surgery for up to five years through fear and inconvenience of having the surgery and rehab. I highly recommend Dr Tim and his professional staff for making this procedure as fear free, friendly and as easy as possible. His care in hospital in St Vincent’s Hospital is to be commended, also the rehab unit which he recommended at St Vincent’s did a fabulous job. I am returning to have my left hip replaced asap. Thank you Dr Tim and Cynthia, plus all nursing staff who cared for me.
