I want to thank everyone at kindred for the great care I received while I was a patient here. The nurses have been great, especially Ray, he is just terrific. Ray gave me a number to call when I needed something and I want to say thank him. Every time I needed something or a phone number I needed to talk with Assanti took care of me, she is the greatest. I told her I couldn't leave without giving her a hug, she was wonderful .

I want to thank so many people. Jeanette,is so nice and always comes to see me. Lanita is also great, she would always get me a snack when I was hungry. She would go get me lunch if I missed lunch, she was great. Laura is very nice, both Alex's are great, one is really funny. I really like Nancy, she comes in and visits every day she is here. I really like her, she always talks to me and looks at my drawings. Brittney and hope are great, Brittney will visit even when she's not assigned to me. A lot of them will come by to say hi and how I'm doing. All praises go to Dr Deltor, he is the best, he makes you feel special. I asked Liz to make my bed one day when she had time and she stopped what she was doing and made my bed right then and there, she is great and nice. Vanessa is funny and would come by. Sam is the best person, she liked my drawings and would come and check on me, and she always took care of all my visitors. I've met So many wonderful people,

Kindred is a good hospital, the front desk staff is good people, they always have a smile and a willingness to help you, no matter what you need. What can I say about Sam, she is the greatest and I won't forget her kindness. Most of my wife's nurses are really good, they impress me. Some give 140%, others don't. I believe 90% of your nursing staff is truly excellent.

We came back to kindred today to thank everyone who took care of my brother. My sister in law and myself wanted to make sure everyone knows how much we appreciate all the nurses who took care of Bob, especially towards the end when he was in icu. Everyone of his icu nurses were amazing. We love everyone of them, they took such great care of Bob and kept us informed every day. We also want to thank Sam, his ambassador. We met Sam the first day we visited, we are grateful for the attention and care she not only showed Bob but was always kind to me and my sister in law., his wife. We are so grateful to everyone who took care of Bob, while he was at Kindred. We want to make sure you know how wonderful Bob was treated while he was here.

We are getting ready to leave today and Sam came in to ask us how our stay had been. My wife, Pat; was happy with her nurses, the only problem was just when you got to know them they would be on their days off. But her nurses were great. We both liked her doctors, Dr Simon and Dr. Hus are great. I told Sam the ladies at the front desk were always nice and helpful. When I didn't know if a Doctor was in the building they would always offer to page him for me. Thank you

The gifts at Kindred,
I experienced human care at its best when I came to Kindred Hospital. I was terrified to come yet my life has been made better for being here. I got to feel the care of humanity at its best. I have had my ups and downs and each staff member tried so hard to acknowledge both. I learned many lessons but the one that impacted me most was care that went above and beyond the “designated job.” They not only save lives but save spirits and console tired souls that have been sick their whole life like myself.
Personally, I forgot what it is like to laugh until it hurts like I did with Michael,RN. Marie,RN gave a caring ear whenever possible and Excillit, RN actually gave be short breaks from illness. I have had nurses for decades and she reaches far above any in every area but especially caring. I was just Barbara to her when I needed that. What a gift! She knew I was sick yet talked to me not down to me and I can honestly say, in all my decades of treatment has made one of the biggest impacts not just while hear but lessons to live by. My heart goes out to her and all the staff.
If you ever need long term care and are terrified, please listen closely to these words. There are good health professionals out there. The best thing is that they are human too. Please take my words and calm yourself a little because they are the people who work so hard to make us better. No one asks to be sick. However, the medical professionals at Kindred devote their lives to making those who are well better. I am better. Kindred Hospital is upstanding and outstanding. If you need long term care or a family member does, let me calm your worries, go to Kindred.

My wife was here for 4 weeks and received nothing but the best care both on the floor and in icu . My wife was an RN for 50 years so I know what good care is. Thank you so every every much. The entire staff were GREAT.

Certain staff stood out as exemplary and require a special mention. CNA’s Lanita, Liz, Beverly, Shayla, Nege, Doree, Josie. Unit secretary Sheila went out of her way in all respects. Nurse Miseline, Charge Nurse Debbie, Charge Nurse Grace were all caring, compassionate and excellent nurses. Jola, Grace, Erica, Musa, Jackie, Jona and Lupi in Rebab were great. Sam in admissions, Erica at reception as well as all other reception and security staff stood out.

Our sister was here for over a week, she had many issues that needed attention not to mention depression. The staff here at kindred went above and beyond caring for her. My sisters and I are very grateful for the care and compassion she received at kindred. Kindred did a wonderful job of addressing her needs in a professional yet compassionate manner. Thank you.
