I was referred to Dr. Sussman through another immunologist as he couldnt figure out what the problem was. Dr. Sussman saw me right away, and was able to diagnose my problem immediately. There is a reason why he is so busy. This doctor has improved my quality of life dramatically. Without him I wouldn't be where I am right now.

I find all the below negative comments to be very shocking. Maybe you should actually give him a chance to assist you with your allergies then you would change your tune. Before I went to Sussman I had numerous allergist whom couldn't explain my allergies and just told me stay away from all fruits nuts and vegetables with the expection of broccoli and rapini. So for most my life I ate carbs, meat and those 2 vegetables. Finally I switched GP and got referred to Sussman and after testing he found exactly what I am allergic to and explain why. Not only did this open up my food options but it also saved me numerous trips to ER for anaphylaxis. So in all honesty if you want a great allergist who cares for his patients then stick with him. If you want your average allergist whom will diagnose you with very little expalintion and knowledge and just dope you up with antihistamines then go else where.

Kind, personable, thoughtful and knowledgeable. We have had a great experience with Dr Sussman across 4 years. We are very grateful to him for his help with an anaphylactic allergy and a very anxious teen.

I have been to many allergists in the states for over 30 years. All had told me that I had allergies and just kind of gave up with no extra help…just accept what you have and get through it..Well, Dr. Sussman does not believe in just getting through it, he offers help, suggestions and interacts with other doctors to see if he can combine all medical problems and get the job done…To help his patient(s) get well and to have a solid solution. He relates that things take time, but, he gives you hope and tries his best. I recommend him highly. I have read the comments on his office. That shows me that he is not interested in flash, he is interested in his patients and that is really where all should be focused on, not the dress and flash of the office. His casual nature is wonderful. It puts his patients at ease and allows them to feel right at home.

I found Dr. Sussman to be kind, funny and very very responsible. But perhaps most importantly, and what I believe few people know, Dr. Sussman was an invaluable member of the two man psychiatric “Crisis Intervention Team” for a month at Toronto Western Hospital in the 1970’s.

Lori at the front desk is an angel, and Debbie is wonderful too. The nurse who performed the allergy test was patient and kind with mea and my fear of needles, and Dr Sussman took time explaining the test results to me and listening to my concerns. Fully recommended.

Dr Sussman tried to help me with an allergy to metal. He promised he would help find me a surgeon to remove the metal. He said it was a sensitive matter and to leave it with him. After consulting with the surgeon who did this to me , you said no one will ever help me. Shame on you Dr Sussman. I found more than 2 surgeons who have never seen anything like this. I relied on your word and you failed me.
