Lori at the front desk is an angel, and Debbie is wonderful too. The nurse who performed the allergy test was patient and kind with mea and my fear of needles, and Dr Sussman took time explaining the test results to me and listening to my concerns. Fully recommended.

Excellent doctor. Was referred to him by my family doctor and he knew exactly what rare condition I had almost immediately. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Dr Sussman tried to help me with an allergy to metal. He promised he would help find me a surgeon to remove the metal. He said it was a sensitive matter and to leave it with him. After consulting with the surgeon who did this to me , you said no one will ever help me. Shame on you Dr Sussman. I found more than 2 surgeons who have never seen anything like this. I relied on your word and you failed me.

Went to Dr. Sussman because of my three year old son's food allergies and eczema. He felt that my son's skin had nothing to do with what food he was eating, even though when we took away certain foods it cleared up immediately. Not forthcoming with results, even when the results showed potential serious reactions and wouldn't give us a copy of the results. Had a teenager volunteering at the clinic do the skin testing on my three year old. Needless to say, I was not impressed.

Dr. Sussman was great. As was his colleague, Dr. Gould. I was referred to Dr. Sussman by my dermatologist. I had a terrible allergic reaction which looked like chapped, bloody, cracked lips but it was most of the bottom half of my face. My first visit was a on a Friday, had the initial consultation, allergy test strips applied and returned on the Monday for strip removal and diagnosis. Turns out I have a severe allergy to nickel. Dr. Sussman diagnosed and recommended a cream to help ease the pain. Whether or not the cream helped, the ease of mind I got from knowing (after 6 months) what my problem was, it started to disappear within days. Dr. Sussman made me feel comfortable and relieved to have finally found someone that could help. I would recommend this practice to anyone with complex or unknown allergies.

Dr. Sussman was a huge help in my treatment. 8 months ago I started suffering from severe urticaria all over my face and body that was getting progressively worse. It was debilitating and after seeing six different doctors, and being prescribed many different medications, Dr. Sussman put me on an immunosuppressant that has helped treat my condition. I am not a big proponent of medication however my standard of living was quite poor at the time I saw Dr. Sussman. He was understanding and treated me promptly.

Dr Sussman made an accurate diagnosis of my condition after years of multiple other doctors failing to identify my health problem (and after numerous visits for emergency treatment). He has continued to treat me with care and truly expert knowledge as treatments have advanced. Dr. Sussman does direct research into various allergies and immune conditions and always has specialist new doctors and research staff on site. The research contributes to improvements in treatments for all, not only for his patients. I have benefited directly from his research and am grateful that doctors of his caliber are willing to continue to see patients.

I was referred to Dr. Sussman through another immunologist as he couldnt figure out what the problem was. Dr. Sussman saw me right away, and was able to diagnose my problem immediately. There is a reason why he is so busy. This doctor has improved my quality of life dramatically. Without him I wouldn’t be where I am right now.

I find all the below negative comments to be very shocking. Maybe you should actually give him a chance to assist you with your allergies then you would change your tune. Before I went to Sussman I had numerous allergist whom couldn’t explain my allergies and just told me stay away from all fruits nuts and vegetables with the expection of broccoli and rapini. So for most my life I ate carbs, meat and those 2 vegetables. Finally I switched GP and got referred to Sussman and after testing he found exactly what I am allergic to and explain why. Not only did this open up my food options but it also saved me numerous trips to ER for anaphylaxis. So in all honesty if you want a great allergist who cares for his patients then stick with him. If you want your average allergist whom will diagnose you with very little expalintion and knowledge and just dope you up with antihistamines then go else where.

Kind, personable, thoughtful and knowledgeable. We have had a great experience with Dr Sussman across 4 years. We are very grateful to him for his help with an anaphylactic allergy and a very anxious teen.
