I found him to be rude and arrogant. He prescribed my baby medication for strep throat without swabbing his throat and without explaining the medication to me (the pharmacist told me what it was). I would not recommend him to a new mother.

I found him to be rude and arrogant. My baby was very sick and I brought him in the ER to check. He was the on call doctor that day,he just checked baby's ears and he didn,t examin the baby.he told me give advil for the fever. I had to take my baby that afternoon to see my family doctor, my family doctor examine the baby and he had severe ear infection and bronchitis. He doesn't care about the patients only he care about the money.

This odctor delivered my 2nd baby when we couldnt make it back to Edmonton.He was very compassionate and I couldnt have asked for a better doctor to de;iver my baby.The hospital staff on Acute Care however, is a totally different horrid story.

Dr B is the only doctor I'd ever see in an emergency or serious situation. His diagnostic skills are accurate and to the point. He is very thorough, concerned and caring. Thanks Dr B.

Very poor Dr.my father was treated with high blood preside in the hospital for a week!Dr Birkhill did not send him for any tests to see the root of the problem,gave us no answers,when I asked him about getting tests done he just gave me a snide smirk and treated me like a fool.well he is th efoo because my father suddenly passed away outside at his farm in a shed on a cold winter day.what if he was driving on the highway w my mother or grandkids?he really should't play w people's lives,dad was on a fistful of meds w no care from Dr.Birkhill,he didnt even check his blood presure or listen to his heart at the last appointment just threw more pills at him.I noticed the people who rate him well on here are either friends or people involved w media of course he will treat them well.He should NOT be a Dr. Of any kind!!!'nnn

I’m pretty sure he saved my life! I saw him in emergency my blood pressure had bottomed out, he acted quickly and ordered what i needed.
