I was referred to Dr. Laval by my midwife due to hypertension. She was fabulous, she gave me appropriate information. She followed me and allowed me to continue my care with my midwife, which alot of OBGYN's would be happy to intervene and take over. She made herself available during my delivery however did not intervene with my midwife's care. And, I had to perfect delivery with my midwife. A big thank you for respecting my needs and wants.

WORST dr ever! VERY disrespectful and RUDE! No professionalism at all! She needs to be fired, a disgrace to the profession! AVOID her at all cost.

She doesnt care, is NEVER on time. Her eyes and attention is on the little computer she carries around. Dont get checked by her for any issue and even the pap i had wasnt done by her. Shes forgetful and wants to get you out of the room within 5 minutes max. Expect to wait around for at least 40 minutes to see her. Had to beg for tests and knew something was wrong but she kept telling me i was fine. Took 2 yrs and 7 hospital visits for an ER doctor to finally diagnose, with the complaint that my OBGYN could have looked into it so easily and had results right away. After going to her for 4 years and getting nowhere, Ive finally left and on the search for a dr who actually cares about my wellbeing not how many hours/appoitnments one can bill in a day. Also, apple tree set up in both locations are HORRIBLE. Expect to wait atleast 45 mins on the phone to take to the operator and atleast 3 attempts to get ahold of one of her medical staff. Appointments with her take months fo get because she only works 2 half days a week.

I saw her throughout my first pregnancy. She’s forgetful, inconsiderate and truly doesn’t care about her patients. You could tell she sees them as pay checks. My experience with her is traumatizing. I do not recommend

So my experience with Sharon Laval was almost 11 years ago. In fact the son she delivered will be 11 in April. There was so much wrong with my experience with this woman that I couldn’t see back then because yes I was only 19 when I was pregnant so I guess I thought somehow I deserved her attitude? Any how. She was rude the whole way through made me feel pathetic. Would not LET me find out the gender until 37 weeks! My don was 10 and a half pounds so I was absolutely huge by the end. 3 cm dilated and very effaced though now I can’t recall how much. My due date came and went and no baby. When I brought up induction she was VERY opposed. I finally got her to agree to 3 days past my due date rather than a week. I ended up having a uteran inversion and almost dying. She blamed me for pushing when I shouldn’t….not like I tried. My son’s one lung at least wasn’t fully expanding and they pinched a nerve in his shoulder as she was pulling him out. Thankfully they stopped the bleeding before it was too late. And my son’s lung expanded and all was well. Fast forward to my check up it seemed s though it was simply a formality which was bad enough but then she left the room to take a call and in my boredom I looked at my file open in front of her dear and learn I had apparently been a high risk pregnancy! Not once was this ever even touched on!!! When I told her I was terrified of giving birth after what happened she was rude and told me it was unlikely to happen again. False. I later did research before having another child (minus her!) And my odds were higher for it to happen because it had happened once already! In recent years I’ve heard of her making major mistakes delivering other babies and apparently losing her license to do so because of this? Well now I can’t help but look back and wonder if that nightmare may well habe been avoided with competent care 🙁 wouldn’t recommend this woman to someone I dislike even.
