My father was at Kindred Hospital and during his stay he was well cared for. The nurses in ICU were terrific, always answering our questions and concerns. As my father improved he was moved down to a lower floor. Which gave us an opportunity to meet several more nurses and CNA'S that took good care of my father. We want to say thank you for the care you provided for our beloved father.

My father had been on the second floor at kindred and is now in ICU.
When he was on the second floor his nurse was Rachel. Her exuberance
would put a smile on my fathers face. Rachel treats her patients with
Respect and dignity.
Liz is now one of my fathers nurses in ICU. She has treated my father with
patience, respect and skill. She has answered questions and concerns we
Had with his well-being.
Tanisha, his case manager, seems genuinely concerned about his well beinfpg
And that of the family. She has answered questions and always made us feel
comfortable asking them.
Sam has been great, helping us through all the paper work and pointing us in the
right direction when we didn’t know where to turn and even making my brother
and me laugh once in a while.

My mother and I were asked to share our thoughts on the care of my father while he
has been here at Kindred.
Our first thought is regarding some of the people that cared for him.
We love Shamonia, she was exceptionally kind and attentive. Even on days
she was assigned somewhere else she would come check on my dad, who
she called “PaPa Bear”. Jim Lunsford.
We especially thanked her for her love and concern the day he went into
respiratory distress, her quick response made all the difference. She also
Was a comfort to his wife at the time.
Rodeline, a CNA, was very caring, kind and fun. She always made time
Even when we were not part of her assignment.
Kelly, the respiratory therapist,, was always caring and friendly.
And Ingrid, the speech therapist, was very kind. Our family thanks her
giving our husband/dad his voice back. We appreciate all the Rehab
Department for rallying to get him to do better.
Thank you all

There are way to many names for me to remember but I can share the over all experience I had at Kindred.
All my nures were wonderful, they always went out of their way to care for me.
My cnas were terrific., they were always checking on me.
Housekeeping made sure my room was always clean.
Dietary took good care of me and the unit secretary was tremendous.
My doctors were great especially the doctor Jones and Mirtha worked for.
A special thanks to Sam, for your compassion and kindness and always willing
to go the extra mile.
Thank you all for making my stay as wonderful as possible

Sam my name is Shelly and I have a relative staying at Kindred, I hope you remember me. I asked for your card and the names of some wonderful nurses, because I honestly appreciate you and the teams level of professionalism and care. We are in a tough time and caring for a loved one while they fight to recover is emotionally draining,
Sometimes frustrating and even physically demanding. When I met you all it was like a breath of fresh air,
utter relief. You know what you are doing and you know how to talk to and treat the patient and family.
I just had to say Thank You, Thank You!
You all are just amazing! Mary Bird, Christine Lawerence, nurse Jamika and Nilda, the RT.
You all have set the bar for patient care! Thank you for creating a caring, professional, loving
and compassionate environment for my Tee Mo and going above and beyond to meet his needs.
Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I actually wanted to tell this to whoever your supervisor is but couldn’t find an e-mail address for them
online. You should let your light shine and forward this .
God bless and keep all of you.
You represent Kindred Hospital of the Palm Beaches well.

Mom is a patient at Kindred and we are so pleased.
At first we were very concerned, as any new place you don’t
know what to expect. However I have been very pleasantly surprised.
The building is new and kept clean.
From the time I came in and was greeted, very enthusiastically,
by the lovely woman at the front desk to the kindness my mother
has received from her nurse’s to the wonderful wound care team
and her doctors, I feel very comfortable with Mom being here.
