This was my second stay at Kindred and I have to say I was disappointed not being greeted by Sam or as she prefers LaVina, on my arrival. My first visit Sam met me at the elevator as I was being taken up to my room and welcomed me to Kindred. However, once I was settled Sam did come say Hi and welcomed me back to Kindred. This visit I met a few more people I had not on my previous visit, like Dr Vanttigunta. What a great doctor, he came by every morning and addressed my needs in a compassionate, understanding, friendly manner. A very caring doctor. I also met Kim, the new Quality Manager, she listened to my concerns and understood and documented my concerns. Liz in rehab was great and also eventually my ambassador. She addressed my needs and customized a unique at home physical regiment for me. Khacine was one of my nurses, she would answer my questions and provide guidance and understood my needs. Ray was another nurse who was terrific, very good at his job, caring and knowledge. And that brings me back to Sam/LaVina, she always addressed my concerns and provided understanding, guidance and compassion in response to my issues. Kindred is lucky to have these people, they are true care givers.

My husband is a patient at kindred and we are going to another facility today where he will
continue getting stronger. Sam asked me to share our experience while we were here.
Dr Rosen is very very smart. So happy he put my husband on a dry up pill,
Melissa, the P,A, is a very lovely person, she has a heart of gold, She always takes the time
to listen and doesn’t make you feel rushed, she is great, Ellen, Dr Shah’s P.A. ,is very easy to talk to
I liked her from the start.
Melinda listened, answered all questions. She was down to earth, while very smart. I trusted her.
She was always available to me.
From the moment I met Dornett I knew she was happy in her job. She listens and is happy for
Patients successes. Seems happy in general.
His nurse Rachael was always trying to do the right thing for her patient. She always went out of her way
And was helpful and upbeat and sweet.
Tunisha has a great smile, and personality. she went full speed ahead to get Mr Gibbons transferred out smoothly.
She was persistent in getting the transfer done quickly and was so happy to accommodate.
Yona in PT is another positive person, who tried to get each client doing their max daily. I give her
So much credit for getting my husband up and moving.
Ingrid was so knowledgeable, she explained what she was trying to accomplish. She is such an
Asset to kindred, always upbeat and positive.
Jola did a great job transporting and trying to have him transfer out of the recliner instead of the
lift, she was happy for my husbands successes,
Grace was always smiling, she has such a sweet helping way. She always tried to make things happen
she is a joy.
Sophia, did a great job… very calm professional and helpful. It was a nice day when she was there.
Dominique and Khacine were very helpful.
Sam is great, from the first night we came in she walked me through the paper work, took me upstairs
To meet his nurse and was always there with a kind word or answer questions and if she didn’t the
answer she would find out or point me in the right direction; another asset to kindred.
The front desk people, Erika and Kevin always greet you with a smile and remember the room
number and are very pleasant.

I came with my friend Georgetta last week for comfort as her husband was being admitted-
Erika was the nicest person- she greeted us- was very polite – she is a great person to
have on the front
I worked in Human Resources for 36 years and it’s nice to see how
helpful people are at their jobs-
I and Georgetta did not know what to expect when we arrived
Erika made us feel very reassured about our loved one being here
Thank you Erika

My wife is in ICU, she got moved to another floor but is now back in ICU and I’m grateful.
Everyone in ICU is great. This is probably the best team effort that I have seen in a hospital
