I want to thank Kelly in respiratory, she is professional and caring. Not only doing a
great job all the time, she has a pleasant positive personality toward my dad and me.
She truly cares about her patients and brightens their day as best she can.
A couple great CNA’S are Aceda, Carmen and Kelecia.
Aceda , no matter how often it is, is there to help and care for my dad. She even tries
to do and make it better, time after time. Always with a good attitude and never a
    Complaint, thank you Aceda!
Carmen does a great job caring for my dad, and doesn’t miss or skip a single detail,
She is kind enough to tell me when I come here how his day was so far.
Then there is Kelecia, who does an excellent job, time and time again, no matter how
many times in her shift that may be. She always does with her happy, positive attitude.
I’m glad when I know she is caring for my dad.

I want to thank several staff that have been so kind to me during my stay here at Kindred.
My day nurse Ray was very pleasant and helpful in my care. Takes pride in his job and
goes the extra mile and has a great attitude.
Beverly was always there to get me ready for bed, she fixed the covers and helped
me get settled. She always took special care for my comfort.
Sheila, from the first day I arrived she was sweet, kind and very considerate of my
disability. She is a ray of sunshine, each time she enters the room. Nothing is to
    much to ask of her.
Horace was very professional and always ready to help.
Junette was very pleasant and helpful in caring for me. Ready to help always.
I had many wonderful caring people help me during my stay, but these people
    stood out.

I want to thank a few more nurses and CNA’S that are taking good care of me.
Carmen is new but very good. She baths and makes my bed and if I ask for something
Carmen gets it quickly. She checks on me periodically without being asked.
Angel is another good CNA, she asks in the morning what time I want my bath
and remembers it day after day. She always comes with a smile and a gentle touch.
I look forward to having her.
If I have to get an IV put in, I scream for Mary! She is the best. She finds a vein where
none can be seen and she is good it doesn’t hurt. Mary explains things as she goes along too.
I am so happy to see when I have Marie, because she is such a professional! Marie comes with
a smile and a sense of humor when she works. If I don’t understand something she takes the
    time to explain.
Britney is one of the best night nurses I have ever had! She anticipates everything I may need.
When I wake up my table is cleaned of all my “trash”. I wish I had her every night!

I want to thank a few people here at kindred.
Sheila Towns does everything with a smile and cheerful attitude. This type of persona emulates
and rubs off to the patients and families. Automatically affecting a patients healing process-positivallly!
Jodi an is a very conscientious RN. Whom is consistently multi-tasking. Pays attention to her patients
and patient requests. Thus making the whole floor atmosphere very productive.
LaVina (Sam) Hurley Barkus, this wonderful and very professional Representative of Kindred
Hospital made me feel confident from the onset that my “mother”, the patient would be in safe
hands during her stay at Kindred Hospital.

Shamanism has been great with not only caring for my dad, but with a great positive upbeat
Personality around my dad and even with me.
My father has had some great CNA’S , Nicole has been kind and caring.
Loretta has even jumped in before her shift starts to help the day shift with my dad,
    When no one else would!
Alourdes has been very kind in doing her job to care for my dad, right from the beginning.
Would also call me at any time to keep me updated or for questions.
AnnMarie has always gone above and beyond to help and care for my dad.
Angel has always shown care and kindness to my dad
    Thank you ladies

I came to kindred from what started as a vacation in Hawaii. I was diving with friends and family And started getting sick a day later, long story short version, I ended up in intensive care there for over 17 days then my wife found kindred. I was transported here for the rest of my recovery. I'm leaving today, had great care from nurses and doctors. Want to mention a few people that stood out. Nicole in Wound care was terrific. Sam was great, always checked on me. Yona was wonderful and Melinda was the best.

We are taking my father home today and we wanted to say thank you to a few wonderful people who cared for him while he was here. First, Elizabeth, in physical therapy, thank you for your great Service in caring for my father, always going above and beyond. Musa was terrific also. His nurses were wonderful and took great care of him. His case worker, Tanisha, was amazing, helpful and supportive. Great over and above service!

I'm not sure if there is a head CNA person, if not Haranda would DEFINETELY be my #1 choice. She is so kind and caring, she took care of my mom even if she was not her patient for that day. She models love and respect! Shanomma is a great R.N. She took really good care of my mom while she was here at kindred. It was a pleasure having her as mom,s nurse.

My father had been on the second floor at kindred and is now in ICU. When he was on the second floor his nurse was Rachel. Her exuberance would put a smile on my fathers face. Rachel treats her patients with Respect and dignity. Liz is now one of my fathers nurses in ICU. She has treated my father with patience, respect and skill. She has answered questions and concerns we Had with his well-being. Tanisha, his case manager, seems genuinely concerned about his well beinfpg And that of the family. She has answered questions and always made us feel comfortable asking them. Sam has been great, helping us through all the paper work and pointing us in the right direction when we didn't know where to turn and even making my brother and me laugh once in a while.

My mother and I were asked to share our thoughts on the care of my father while he has been here at Kindred. Our first thought is regarding some of the people that cared for him. We love Shamonia, she was exceptionally kind and attentive. Even on days she was assigned somewhere else she would come check on my dad, who she called "PaPa Bear". Jim Lunsford. We especially thanked her for her love and concern the day he went into respiratory distress, her quick response made all the difference. She also Was a comfort to his wife at the time. Rodeline, a CNA, was very caring, kind and fun. She always made time Even when we were not part of her assignment. Kelly, the respiratory therapist,, was always caring and friendly. And Ingrid, the speech therapist, was very kind. Our family thanks her giving our husband/dad his voice back. We appreciate all the Rehab Department for rallying to get him to do better. Thank you all
