There are some very good staff there. Not all but most. Sam, Erica, Nicole, Christine, Sheila, Execillant, Michael, Musa, Shamonia, and some more. Can't think of all names right now.

I have been visiting my friend John on the second floor at kindred since he came in yesterday and I was asked how everything was and I said fine. John is doing good but I have to commend you on the lady at the reception desk. Her name is Erika and I thanked her for sharing her beautiful smile and laugh and wanted to let you know how great it is to come into a hospital and be met with that kind of kindness. My name is Ervin and I will no longer dread going to a hospital to visit my friend.

Imy father has had great care since being here at kindred. Thethe nurses have been great. One person that has stood out in his care is Shelia, my father tells me she always checks on him to make sure he doesn't need anything. And she always stays a moment to engage him in amicable conversation. We appreciate the care he has received while a patient here at kindred. Thank you

My husband is being discharged from kindred today and heading to a rehab facility. Bill received great care while he was at kindred. There were several nurses that really cared about Williams care and went out of their way. Ana, one of the cnas was terrific and looked out for William.

I want to thank Andy in radiology. Andy went out of his way to help me. I needed to send
Copies of my husbands test reports to my husbands New York doctor. Andy went above
and beyond in helping to make sure it was done right away and that I got what I needed.
He did all this voluntary and with a smile!
I also want to thank Rafael in housekeeping. I met Rafael early in my husbands stay here
at kindred, as he was assigned to his room. Thereafter when my husband changed rooms he
continued to be friendly AND helpful. Whenever he could be of assistance he was and he
also went the extra mile to be helpful.

The respiratory therapist Nadine has always been kind, considerate and professional
when caring for my Dad and me. Always pleasant and there when needed, no matter
how many times help or concern was needed. She’s one of the best,
Edens has always been an excellent RN when caring for my Dad. He is also always there
for his fellow co-workers, without question. He was Dads first RN on his admisssion on
March 11, and has the same quality of care to present when he had him on admission.

I told Sam and the ladies in case management that I wasn’t thru giving my review on kindred.
I plan on writing a letter to Corporate letting them know what a great hospital Kindred is.
From the first time I came in the door and met LaVina/Sam and went over all the admitting
paper work I knew my mother was in good hands. It only got better, the care the nurses
showed my mother, especially Metrica, was very kind and caring. I appreciate their caring
for my mother,
Everyone was very kind and considerate and my family and I appreciate this very much and
plan on making sure Corporate knows what a great place this is for your loved one,

This is the best hospital I have been in and I’ve been in a few. I was told by another surgeon that I’d never sit up in the wheelchair again because my wounds were so deep they would never heal Dr Hus operated and gave me confidence that I would heal…which I did thanks to the excellent wound care team and nursing staff.
Unfortunately I landed back in Kindred due to long trips in the car and not doing weight shifts in my wheelchair. I was welcomed back by nursing and staff with no recriminations!, just healing hands. The wound care staff is excellent day in and day out they took care of my wound, Kristy and her staff works magic,
I can’t say enough good things about my nurses, a few come readily to mind, Chimene with her ready laugh, Tania with her quiet smile, Michael who was the main nurse that took care of me when I got really sick, he was so gentle. (Women don’t be afraid to have a male nurses). Nurses do a lot more than just hand out meds! As for my CNAs. Love em. I learned to ask at morning blood pressure time in the morning to ask-tell them what time I’d like my bath. Taking into consideration they have other patients I got my bad and new linens. If I didn’t there was a good reason for it. Haranda, Carmen ( the fire cracker) Angel, Nicole, were a few of my regulars. Anyone of them I wanted to take home to be my aide. All these nurses and aides pluse more would stick their head in my room asking if I needed something .
I was at Kindred Hospital for 8 months! Gracious ! I am healed now and will wheel out of here (I’m a paraplegic) TODAY. Yay, all due to the due diligence of the teams at Kindred!
Special thank you to LaVina or as she is known Sam,
Thank you Kindred…….Catherine Rivers

I forgot to mention my two wonderful night nurses. Britney was my favorite nite nurse.
She is so organized as soon as she steps in your room. Very friendly and professional, great nurse.
Hope, the other great nurse, she is one of the best night nurse. She takes her time with you
and is not only interested in you as a patient but as a person too,! Very important.
I’m leaving today and I will always remember Hope’s laugh!
