Poor reception support. They cancelled my appointments twice, one without reason. I had to wait several months only to find out the day before that it was cancelled.

Dr. Sussman is a brilliant Allergist, seeing him was worth the wait. He cares for his patients and he is knowledgeable in treating my ongoing unique condition. His staff is always friendly and went above and beyond in assisting me despite being extremely busy and bombarded. Thank you Dr. Sussman and staff for working so hard throughout this pandemic, my family and I are truly grateful.

To the person commenting below mine, we are going through a pandemic. Most physicians are not even seeing patients. They are short staffed and it's not easy. They are doing the best they can under these circumstances. With all these Covid restrictions hitting us every other month that is why appointments get cancelled. Be kind and be patient. Everyone is doing the best they can. Think about the stress the secretaries and doctors are under with higher than normal volume of calls each and every day since this pandemic started. The world needs more people to be kinder and more understanding.

Disappointed. They don't return your call, had my appt cancelled last minute and I've been trying to get a hold of them for almost a month now to have it rescheduled! Dr. Sussman is good, just impossible to meet with him.

He is a rare and precious Dr. & so easy to relate to. His secretaries always go out of their way to help. His location is perfect and his bldg. is a large comfortable converted home with character & full of history in lovely Forest Hill. ALL DELIGHTFUL.

Incredibly rude to both patients and staff, he kept coming into the waiting room to loudly announce things like “I hope my next patient doesn’t come so we can charge her and I can go home”. He was very curt with his staff and multiple times shouted orders without waiting for response or showing any concern for the many people who were watching him shout. Being a doctor shouldn’t mean you get away with being flagrantly rude.

This is one of the best physicians I have seen. He took the time to investigate what was wrong, asking me to follow up to make sure. It took a long time for me to get in but now I understand why.

This doctor has a great reputation. However his staff never answer the phone. I had an appointment given and then they left a message confirming my appointment with a different time. However when I try to call to clarify they do not answer. I’m never able to get through to them

VERY POOR ATTENTION TO PATIENT FROM STAFF! I saw Dr. Sussman over 1 year. He has good bedside manner and seemed concerned with my issues. When my allergies worsened and the meds he prescribed stopped working I called the office for an appointment several times and ALWAYS got voicemail. Left several messages explaining my situation but no one called me back. When I finally did get a live receptionist she first told me there were no appointments available until Nov 2019. I explained I’m an existing patient and needed to see him right away b/c the allergy symptoms were so bad, she was quite concerned and told me to get another referral from my GP (which I did) (APPARENTLY PATIENTS NEED A REFERRAL EVERY YEAR!!) and she would call me back with an urgent appointment. I never heard from her. Called back, left a voicemail asking about said urgent appointment and received a call telling me his next available appointment is Nov. 2019. Needless to say, i’ve asked my GP to referral me to another immunologist.
