Dr Sussman is the most helpful physician I have seen ever. I have been going to him for a long time, and he has helped me overcome allergies, not just manage them. His office is often packed, so you will sometimes have to wait for an appointment but it is worth the wait. His is a brilliant doctor, and a kind man.

He is a genius. I have gone to so many allergists and no one could figure out what was wrong. Finally I got a referral to Dr. Sussman. Getting an appointment was tough, but it was worth the wait! I researched him before he went, and with all the research this doctor does, I had very high expectations. He not only met my expectations, but exceeded them. Thanks Dr. Sussman for figuring out what every other doctor could not.

I brought my infant daughter in to see drSussman after an anaphylactic reaction to food and he confirmed through skin test that she had multiple allergies. it has been over a year since then and we have done 2 blood tests and we still have no new information. The first requisition we got had another patients name and information on it!! When I called I was told to cross it out and write my daughters info!! Total breach of privacy! And only the first of many mistakes. We waited 6 months for an appointment following the first test only to arrive and find out they didn't have the results. I called 3 times to confirm that the results would be relevant and when I finally got through I was told it was no problem only to arrive, wait 45 mins (with a baby) and find out the results weren't there. The receptionist, bless her heart, called the clinic and returned to the room saying they don't have them yet I would have to wait longer. I had to ASK her to call back and find out why they weren't in after 6 months only to discover they were never authorized and the tests were never run!! I was told if I took my daughter for another test I could receive the results over the phone seeing as I had waited so long and come in to wait around for nothing. I put my baby through the stress of another test which should have taken 3 days to process. I spent 3 weeks trying to get in touch with the doctor (the phone constantly rings through to voicemail) only to find out that they forgot to include her worst allergy on the test! And this was after more than 10 calls and being told several times that the doctor does not give results over the phone. This doctor may be knowledgeable but I sadly didn't get the chance to see this because of the utterly useless support staff at this clinic. The waiting room was always full. One visit there was even a walk in client that was taken while I sat and waited over 40 mins with my 1.5 year old! I will take my daughter to see a doctor who has time to be thorough and I can be confident will be giving us the best care.

Dr. Sussman is a very knowledgable doctor who takes the time to listen to his patients attentively. He also has a warm and caring approach in dealing with his patients. Furthermore, his staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience of visiting a allergist less daunting as a visit can be overwhelming when you are trying to "figure out" your ailments/medical condition- what's going on with your body. I have visited several allergists in the greater Toronto area and he is by far superior in his diagnosis and delivery of information. He won't let you leave his office without a feeling that "I have been well taken care of".

Dr. Sussman is a brilliant physician. He has so much experience and diagnosed me right away. He is very to the point but friendly and caring. He is a great educator and does not leave a stone unturned. He has treated my sons and I. Excellent experience.

I arrived 15 min. late (after phoning to apologize for my delay) and fully expected to wait quite a while to be fit in between two other appointments – but my wait was very minimal. My GP had not forwarded the referral, but this was OK too. I was offered to call her and ask for it to be faxed later, and that was that. The receptionists and the nurse who gave me the shots were very pleasant. I heard Dr. Sussman speak to three other patients, incl. a young man who proved allergic to just about every tree, shrub and grass growing in Ontario – always in a comforting, friendly, reassuring manner way. I myself came in with a fairly good idea of what my problem was (yellow jacket wasp allergy), and my suspicions were confirmed. Dr. Sussman recommended I come back for a immunization therapy, and I gladly will. I can see why others here have commented so favourably. Now let’s only hope he will be fairly rewarded and supported for his efforts, and does not get completely overrun with patients!

I have just come back from Dr Sussmans office. Once you get over the dingy house you realize he is the only Dr you need to see for Allergies. Dr Sussman is a fantastic Allergist. I have Chronic Uticaria. I also arrived half hour late and was surpised I did not have to wait.

Dr. Sussman himself was professional and knowledgeable, however, his waiting room was downright scarey! It felt like we were back in the 1950’s – everything seemed to be so old and dingy. Even the computer the receptionist was using looked like one of the originals. As a first time patient one quickly becomes apprehensive when looking around. As I waited for my daughter to come back out of the office after having allergy tests I found myself just wanting to get out of there as quickly as possible. It seems strange that a doctor who has a very good reputation would have such a strange waiting room!
